Billing Manager Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Manager to oversee and manage billing processes within a leading telecommunication organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely and accurate billing, conducting reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and enhancing billing processes.
* Collaborate closely with various departments to resolve billing discrepancies, support accounts receivable, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
* Support the development and use of billing systems to efficiently organize, store, and analyze billing data while ensuring accuracy, security, and confidentiality.
Core Responsibilities:
* Generate detailed billing reports, providing insights to senior management regarding revenue, trends, and outstanding balances.
* Work closely with finance to detect and prevent revenue leakage.
* Ensure compliance with legal or industry regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.
* Conduct regular audits to validate billing accuracy and prevent fraud.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline billing operations, enhance data accuracy, and improve the customer billing experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in billing management.
* Strong knowledge of billing systems, financial reporting, and data management principles.
* Solid understanding of billing cycles, reconciliation, and accounts receivable functions.
* Experience working with complex billing systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
