Senior Financial Accountant – Fixed Term ContactOur client a leading financial services company are hiring a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Finance function across a range of financial, regulatory, and strategic activities. This role is initially being offered as 12 month FTC and may lead to a longer term opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the general ledger and oversee month-end and quarter-end closing processes.Prepare and review management information and consolidated financial statements.Lead the statutory audit process and ensure robust balance sheet management.Oversee expense reporting, procurement compliance, and tax submissions.Maintain finance procedures, systems, and strong internal controls.Manage a team of 2.About YouQualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with post-qualification experience in financial services.Background in Big Four or similar professional services highly desirable.Experience within the life assurance sector an advantage.Strong technical knowledge of Solvency 11, IFRS, excellent analytical skills, and high attention to detail.Proactive, organised, and capable of thriving in a fast-evolving business.Excellent communicator and team player with leadership potential.Renumeration:€75,000 -€85,000 plus benefits and bonusHybrid working -2 days onsite
