A family in Barnes Bridge is seeking an after-school nanny to care for their toddler and two school-aged children, starting this August. The role is primarily Monday to Friday, though flexibility to assist on weekends is important. A valid first aid qualification is essential. The family employs a full-time housekeeper, so no cooking or housekeeping duties are required. However, the nanny should be comfortable around their two cats and one dog. The ideal candidate will be degree-educated, possess strong communication skills, and be confident in managing multiple children. Someone who can intellectually engage and inspire the children would be especially valued.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Extra hours on Saturday morning and potentially some hours on Sunday.
Duties include:
Preparing healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children
Assisting the children with washing, dressing, and personal care routines
Supporting with homework and educational tasks
Engaging the children in after-school activities
Planning and leading recreational activities that promote physical and mental development
Maintaining a clean, organised, and child-friendly environment
Organising creative arts and crafts sessions
Taking the children to parks, playgrounds, and other age-appropriate outings
Helping with the bedtime routine, including reading bedtime stories
The ideal start date is on the 20th of August 2025.
