Join Sulzer Pump Solutions Ireland Ltd as a Safety Officer. We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, and driven Safety Officer to join our Wexford team. We are looking for a Safety Officer to join our FE_WIBU team in Ireland.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Reporting directly to the ESH manager, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, codes of practice, and Sulzer standards regarding safety, health, and environment management.
* Collaborating with management, value stream leads, team leaders, operators, and support functions to implement and support ESH initiatives.
* Providing administrative support for the Environmental Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS).
* Supporting the ESH function to maintain compliance with standards such as ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
Readiness to travel: Occasional national and international travel.
Qualifications and skills needed:
* QQI Level 7 - Health and Safety qualification or equivalent.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Knowledge of SharePoint and Office 365 is advantageous.
* Experience in the mechanical or manufacturing industry is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Self-motivated with a drive for continual improvement.
