Environmental Health + Safety Officer Global market leading healthcare company are seeking an experienced EH+S officer in Ireland. THE COMPANY: Our client is one of the largest suppliers of medical device and healthcare equipment in Ireland, with an international presence. They are known for quality and customer service, and are experiencing a lot of growth in recent years. They are looking to fill an EH+S role for the team in Ireland. THE ROLE: The successful applicant will be located in Ireland, ideally Leinster/Dublin but this will be flexible, and will have the following duties: Manage internal and external audits Assume the role of Responsible Officer under the Health Products Regulatory Authority regulations. Conduct all H+S training and inductions for their multiple sites in Ireland Manage all 3rd party suppliers to ensure they comply with compliance and environmental standards set by the company Manage the compliance systems, QMS, and continuous improvement THE PERSON: We are looking to candidates from the following backgrounds: Scientific or Engineering qualifications are desirable, ideally an environmental health + safety qualification Previous job experience dealing with Compliance and Environmental Health & Safety is required. Compliance background in medical device, manufacturing, chemicals, or pharma is advantageous. Accreditations in any of the following ISO's is a plus:.
