Great National Hotels & Resorts are looking for a Senior Revenue Manager to join their revenue team in the Great National Head Office in Ennis. You'll benefit from a supportive and collaborative environment, with the option to move to a hybrid working model following successful completion of your probation period.
As Senior Revenue Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between GN and our member, managed, and partner hotels. In addition to core revenue management responsibilities, this role includes a strong account management function-monitoring client engagement, coordinating with internal teams (Digital, GDS, Operations), and ensuring a proactive, integrated service experience for each hotel. Your role will be critical in maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring that all aspects of the account are performing to a high standard.
You will also be expected and welcomed to contribute ideas and methods for developing the company as an integral part of your role.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Management
* Develop and implement property-specific revenue strategies to maximise RevPAR and market share.
* Lead weekly revenue calls with assigned hotels, including detailed analysis of performance, pacing, and market conditions.
* Analyse STR, OTA data, and own brand performance to stay ahead of market trends and inform strategy.
* Monitor conversion metrics and adapt strategies to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
* Prepare and distribute bi-weekly and daily yield recommendations and rate sheets.
* Support implementation and adjustment of chosen strategies based on data trends and pacing reports.
* Lead the annual budgeting process for room revenue in collaboration with each hotel.
Account Management & Client Engagement
* Serve as the key point of contact for assigned hotels, fostering long-term relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
* Monitor overall client engagement and satisfaction. Alert internal teams if engagement levels drop or if risks emerge, initiating corrective action.
* Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, forecast outlook, and strategic recommendations.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure timely follow-up on all client concerns.
* Identify cross-functional opportunities to improve account performance and overall service delivery.
Cross-Team Coordination
* Work closely with the Digital Marketing and GDS teams to ensure a unified and well-rounded approach to account performance.
* Highlight revenue opportunities requiring digital promotion or distribution adjustments.
* Participate in multi-disciplinary performance reviews to align marketing, distribution, and pricing strategies.
Platform & Process Improvement
* Support development and refinement of the GN yield management platform (Revanista).
* Lead onboarding and training for hotels adopting the Revanista platform, ensuring effective usage and adoption.
* Recommend enhancements based on user feedback and field experience.
Internal Collaboration & Communication
* Engage weekly with COO, GM, Chief Ecommerce Officer, Systems & Support Manager, Ops Manager, and the Updates Team to share insights and escalate key account updates or challenges.
* Provide regular status updates on client performance, satisfaction, and key metrics to internal leadership.
* Promote and encourage hotel participation in GN best practice initiatives and pilots.
Other Responsibilities
* Participate in ad hoc projects, strategic reviews, and onboarding of new hotel clients as required.
* Maintain high professional standards in all communications, reports, and interactions.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with clients and colleagues.
* Experience in revenue management systems and reporting tools (e.g., STR, OTA insights, PMS, RMS).
* Proactive problem-solver, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
* Commercial mindset with understanding of digital marketing and distribution landscape.
