This role suits someone with strong hands-on experience across desktop, hardware, and infrastructure support, who enjoys solving problems and keeping systems running smoothly as well as extensive Comms room experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day IT support across desktops, software, hardware, printers, and communication roomsPerform regular system and server health checks, monitoring performance and resolving alerts promptlyManage and maintain server racks, cabling, and comms room equipmentSupport and maintain all servers, networks, and IT infrastructureAdminister and support SQL Server, Windows Server, and Exchange environmentsManage Office 365 users, permissions, and applicationsAssist with hardware replacements, upgrades, and preventive maintenanceKey Skills & ExperienceMinimum 4 years’ experience in IT Support or a similar hands-on technical roleStrong knowledge of desktop and server support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issuesExperience maintaining comms rooms, replacing racks, and managing server environmentsConfident working with network fundamentals, UPS, RAID, and performance monitoringCompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications (or similar) are highly beneficialExcellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skillsIf you’re an experienced IT professional ready for your next challenge, or know someone who might be.
