Sales Administrator/ Receptionist
As a member of our Sales and Administration Team, you will be the face of OCS/MC Property for many of our clients first experience prior to purchasing or undertaking a rental in one of our properties. You will put our clients at the heart of everything that you do, creating a pleasant and seamless sales / rental experience, whether it's their first purchase / rental or moving within our housing portfolio.
The role of Sales Administrator/Receptionist carries with it many administrative functions, however, there is also a significant client facing dimension, as we work with new clients to buy or rent their new home.
Our clients' are our most valuable assets. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally and efficiently to manage a diverse workflow.
We are looking for an experienced administrator with strong organisation skills, a high degree of professionalism and ability to use Microsoft Office applications. A good people person with excellent communication skills at all levels, a degree of compassion and humility.
Principal Accountabilities:
Assist the Sales Lettings Agents, to ensure that the OCS/MC Property sales and lettings targets are met.
Attend viewings, open days and other client facing meetings.
Develop effective professional working relationships with clients, solicitors, lenders and other agents.
Provide administration and support to OCS'/MC Property wider teams. Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
Skills required:
Excellent and rounded communication skills, both verbal and written combined with a mature and understanding manner as the post holder may deal with sensitive issues.
The Sales Team will deal with a high volume of client interactions and therefore it is essential that the post holder is able to deal with many high priority issues at the same time. The post-holder must be able to maintain a calm and professional approach whilst quickly developing a strong rapport with clients.
Previous successful experience in a contract and administrative role is essential and a professional or vocational qualification would be an advantage. Property management experience is desirable, but not essential.
A good level of computer literacy, especially in the Microsoft Office Products, is essential together with the ability to be able to learn internal CRM systems through training.
The candidate must demonstrate an alignment with OCS/MC Property values and attributes and behaviours that evidence an ethos suitable to the role.
