Overview
We are seeking an experienced
IT Infrastructure & Resilience Lead
to take ownership of the delivery, stability, and regulatory resilience of our IT infrastructure services in Dublin. Operating within a
regulated financial services environment
, this is a senior
individual contributor
role with significant accountability for
disaster recovery, backup and restore, infrastructure resilience testing, and third-party governance
, aligned to the
Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)
.
You will play a critical role in ensuring our infrastructure services - across
on-premises and cloud platforms
- are secure, recoverable, compliant, and operationally resilient.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Resilience & Disaster Recovery
* Own the design, maintenance, and execution of
Disaster Recovery (DR)
and
Business Continuity
plans.
* Plan, coordinate, and execute
regular DR and resilience testing
, ensuring outcomes meet DORA and regulatory expectations.
* Drive continuous improvement based on test results, incidents, and regulatory feedback.
Backup & Storage (Commvault)
* Act as the technical owner for
enterprise backup and recovery platforms
(e.g.
Commvault
).
* Ensure backup, retention, restore, and recovery processes are secure, tested, documented, and auditable.
* Oversee storage platforms to ensure performance, resilience, and compliance.
Network & Core Infrastructure
* Ensure availability, performance, and security of
LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls
, and connectivity services.
* Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to align infrastructure controls with security requirements.
Microsoft 365 Platform
* Own operational oversight of
Microsoft 365
, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and associated security and compliance features.
* Ensure platform resilience, service continuity, and appropriate governance.
Third-Party & Managed Service Oversight
* Govern
third-party vendors and MSPs
, ensuring SLA adherence, service quality, and operational resilience.
* Lead service reviews, performance reporting, and escalation management.
* Support due diligence, risk assessments, and contract governance activities.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
* Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure services, controls, and resilience testing.
* Ensure alignment with
DORA
,
GDPR
, and applicable financial services regulations.
* Support audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments as required.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
* Work closely with
Cyber Security, Risk, Compliance, and Service Delivery
teams.
* Contribute to operational excellence initiatives and infrastructure resilience strategy.
Experience & Skills Required
* 5+ years' experience
managing or leading IT infrastructure in a
regulated financial services environment
.
* Strong hands-on experience with
Commvault
or equivalent enterprise backup solutions.
* Proven experience
planning and executing DR tests
and resilience exercises.
* Solid understanding of
DORA
, IT risk, operational resilience, and business continuity frameworks.
* Strong experience working with
third-party vendors and MSPs
, including governance and performance management.
* Technical expertise across:
* Backup & recovery platforms
* Storage technologies
* Networking (LAN/WAN/VPN/firewalls)
* Microsoft 365 services
