Procurement Support Specialist Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to provide operational support to the Purchasing Manager, encompassing purchasing, inventory management, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the procurement and customer service teams to monitor stock levels and assist with order planning.
* Facilitate communication between suppliers, internal departments, and customers to ensure seamless interactions and resolve any arising issues.
* Prepare and dispatch purchase orders, as well as support meetings, reporting, and supplier tenders.
* Coordinate tasks during absences or peak periods to maintain productivity.
* Provide team supervision and warehouse coordination to optimize operations.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is essential.
* A solid understanding of inventory/purchasing systems is required.
* Strong analytical skills and management experience are necessary.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
