We work across the EMEA region and our head office is in Limerick, Ireland.
H&MV is experiencing rapid growth and expansion, particularly within European markets.
As we continue to expand our operations globally, we are seeking a Legal Counsel/Solicitor to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As Legal Counsel/Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in assisting with legal projects, GDPR, global legal compliance, corporate governance and other legal and compliance matters.
Working within the legal team and closely with Senior Leadership Team to deliver clear and concise advice on a variety of legal topics.
The role is Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote) to our head office in Limerick.
Key Responsibilities: Advise on GDPR, updating/maintaining necessary policies and procedures, data subject access requests, data breaches, data processing agreements and general data protection queries.
Advise generally on corporate legal matters including shareholder matters, commercial and banking matters.
Oversee ad-hoc legal matters for group subsidiaries.
Co-ordinate approval and execution of legal documents.
Oversee company secretarial filings and compliance requirements for Irish and international companies.
Assist with Know Your Client and anti-money laundering queries.
Advise on employment law matters and assist with the development of HR policies and procedures.
Assist with acquisitions, and restructuring transactions, due diligence and disclosure exercises.
Requirements Third level Law or Business degree.
Professional Qualification (Solicitor or international equivalent).
Minimum of 2 year+ experience as a qualified solicitor either in-house or in a large / mid-tier law firm.
Solid experience in a corporate/commercial firm with exposure to data protection, M&A and employment highly desirable.
Knowledge of company secretarial/CRO desirable.
Strong drafting, negotiating and communication skills.
Broad business knowledge and ability to understand complex operations and business relationships.
Strategic thinker who is a capable problem solver.
Ability to work on own initiative and be motivated to deliver multistrand legal projects.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
