Job Summary:
A strategic Human Resources Manager is required to lead key initiatives across a well-established manufacturer and supplier of concrete products. This role offers flexibility for a 4 or 5 day working week.
About the Role:
* Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end hiring processes, from job posting to candidate integration.
* Employee Relations: Handle grievances, disciplinary procedures, and foster a collaborative work culture.
* Engagement & Wellbeing: Coordinate newsletters, organise wellbeing events, and promote health initiatives in line with company calendars.
* HR Advisory: Support management with strategic HR guidance and policy implementation.
* Learning & Development: Identify training needs, design and deliver development programmes.
* HR Systems & Payroll Support: Review time and attendance data for payroll and system integrity.
* Policy & Compliance: Develop and update policies to reflect legal requirements and industry standards.
* Performance Management: Lead appraisal processes and drive continuous performance feedback.
Requirements:
* Degree or Professional qualification in human resource management or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
* Strong advisory capabilities across a wide range of HR functions.
* Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* High level of organisation and attention to detail.
* Proficient in MS Office and ideally experienced with HR software platforms.
