Position Summary:
The Senior Development Coordinator will support the expansion of Tuath through new build projects, Design & Build, and Modern Methods of Construction. Responsibilities include working with design teams, managing contracts during construction, appraising new opportunities, and collaborating with local authorities and the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage to deliver social housing, Cost Rental, and Affordable Housing projects. The role ensures projects are financially viable and offer value for money.
Qualifications:
* Relevant third-level qualification in Construction, Project Management, QS, Design, Housing, or equivalent
* Own vehicle and full clean driving license
* Proficiency in MS Office
You will:
* Identify viable housing development opportunities
* Assist in formulating and delivering the Development Programme
* Support dispute resolution
* Manage development staff and oversee project control and supervision
* Recommend and review consultants and contractors
* Ensure tendering complies with EU Procurement and H&S legislation
* Manage projects from inception to final account and defect handover
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar environment
* Experience in development, construction, and property development
* Ability to work with partners and manage relationships
* Leadership, mentoring, and guidance skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective team and independent worker
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Participation in forums, working groups, or committees as needed
