The Opportunity
This is a greenfield leadership role within a major, established group - the chance to build and scale a new European platform, backed by deep resources, brand strength, and institutional credibility.
The firm seeks a commercially minded, strategic, and entrepreneurial leader - someone who combines board-level gravitas and operational discipline with the energy and vision to drive growth. You'll oversee the development of the Dublin entity, lead the migration of the EU client book, and create the infrastructure, culture, and strategy required to scale across Europe.
The mandate is to build a sustainable, growth-focused, and well-governed business - one that leverages DFM and MPS propositions as central engines of expansion for a full wealth proposition.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Growth
 * Shape and deliver the European growth strategy, balancing commercial opportunity with operational and regulatory integrity.
 * Identify and develop new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels that align with the firm's long-term European ambitions.
 * Leverage the group's wealth management brand, network, and product capability to establish a competitive and scalable platform.
 * Ensure DFM and MPS remain at the centre of the firm's client proposition, supporting long-term revenue and AUM growth.
 * Act as a credible ambassador for the firm in the Irish and European market, representing the business at a senior level with clients, partners, and regulators.
Leadership, Build & Governance
 * Provide clear leadership and direction for the Irish entity, ensuring alignment with Group objectives and a focus on execution.
 * Build and mentor a small but high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and commercial focus.
 * Oversee the successful migration and repapering of the Group's EU client book, establishing the operational and governance foundations for further growth.
 * Maintain robust but pragmatic governance, risk, and compliance structures consistent with MiFID expectations.
 * Act as the primary point of contact for Group Executives, regulators, and local stakeholders, ensuring transparency, credibility, and delivery.
The Individual
 * Proven MD, CEO, or Deputy CEO/COO within wealth management or a closely related financial services business.
 * Demonstrated success in building or scaling regulated entities, ideally under MiFID frameworks.
 * European exposure is highly regarded - regulatory, client-side and/or cross-border/pan-EU distribution
 * Strong commercial instinct and track record in driving growth, partnership development, or strategic expansion.
 * Deep understanding of DFM/MPS propositions and their role in modern wealth management growth.
 * Balanced profile: entrepreneurial yet disciplined, strategic yet hands-on, credible yet energetic.
 * Experience influencing across a matrix structure and operating with Board-level visibility.
 * PCF1 (or clear suitability) with the judgement and gravitas to represent the firm locally and within the Group.
