Description
You'll be a global architect of our fixed asset strategy, managing property, plant, equipment, and critical intangibles across APAC, GC, EMEIA, and ALAC. Your mission: transform how we account for assets through automation, optimize systems, and execute strategic projects that impact Apple's bottom line.
Responsibilities
Global Ownership - Lead end-to-end accounting for worldwide fixed and intangible assets, ensuring US GAAP and local compliance
Transformation - Spearhead process automation and system optimization initiatives that revolutionize asset management
Strategic Partnership - Collaborate with R2R, business finance, operations, tax, and corporate teams to drive seamless integration
Risk & Governance - Build robust frameworks that protect value and ensure audit-ready compliance
Financial Excellence - Own month/quarter-end closes, delivering accurate reporting that informs critical business decisions
Minimum Qualifications
CPA/ACA/ACCA qualification
Strong SAP/ERP expertise
Multi-national accounting experience
Deep US GAAP knowledge with local GAAP navigation skills
Proven fixed asset accounting expertise
Preferred Qualifications
Intangible asset accounting mastery
Global organization experience
Data visualization prowess (Tableau/Dataiku)
Action-oriented problem solver who thrives under pressure
