Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€70,240 – €90,865 per annum) in line with current Government pay policy.
Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of a programme of construction works aimed at enhancing universal access across the estate.
Projects will be high-volume, small to medium-scale (often integrated with routine maintenance and planned works) rather than major capital schemes with independent programme structures.
The role focuses on universal design and accessibility across all areas of the university.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans, budgets and schedules for individual projects.
Ensure quality project management, risk management, stakeholder management and compliance with TCD governance procedures.
Serve as the central point of contact for all project inputs and outputs in coordination with other officers, committees and positions in the Programme Management Office.
Collaborate closely with the University's Disability Service and other key staff across the University.
Provide regular reporting on project progress, risks and issues to senior management.
Qualifications
Relevant qualification and experience in project management within construction, facilities or a similar sector.
Experience managing multiple small to medium-scale construction projects, preferably with a focus on accessibility or universal design.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, risk assessment, budgeting and scheduling.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently, resolve problems proactively and deliver results on time.
