Legal Operations Manager Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a legal office, ensuring efficient completion of tasks and effective management of resources.
o Manage the firm's accounts, including data entry, bank reconciliations, and credit control.
o Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Regulations.
* Office Services:
o Oversee the procurement of office supplies and negotiate purchase agreements with external suppliers.
o Manage office equipment and maintenance contracts.
* Staff Resource Allocation:
o Allocate work to legal secretaries and executives.
o Recruit, train, and manage support staff.
* IT Support:
o Liaise with external providers to ensure IT infrastructure meets the practice's needs.
o Develop and implement an IT usage policy.
* Communication:
o Manage internal and external communication, including document security.
o Ensure efficient flow of information within the practice.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Previous experience in a legal practice is desirable but not essential.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to take on responsibilities.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ideally Keyhouse Case Management.
