Offer description

Our company is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various finance-related tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

* We are looking for someone with a proven track record in accounts roles (e.g. Accounts Assistant/Technician, Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper).
* A Accounting Technician (IATI) qualification or part-qualification is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Transaction Processing
* Process and manage a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and authorisation.
* Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets.
2. Credit Control and Cash Management
* Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs via EFT.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
* Act as primary point of contact for all supplier account queries.
* Generate customer invoices and issue monthly statements.
3. Financial Record Keeping and Reporting
* Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts accurately.
* Maintain debtors' ledger and resolve customer account queries in a timely manner.
* Assist with daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
4. Support Functions
* Support Financial Controller with month-end procedures and reporting.
* Assist in preparation of VAT returns.
* Process staff expense claims.
* Maintain organised and accurate financial records and filing systems.
