Johnson Controls is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Cork-based team supporting the Fire Suppression division – Provincial Sprinklers. Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
* Issue invoices, statements, and payment certificates
* Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collections
* Upload invoices to customer portals (Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten)
* Maintain VAT Form 56B certificate records
Accounts Payable
* Retrieve invoices from supplier portals (Ayvens, Energia, Vodafone)
* Process and code invoices, allocate project numbers
* Resolve supplier invoice and payment queries
VAT Compliance
* Prepare and submit bi-monthly VAT returns
* Manage complex intercompany and non-EU transactions
Project Administration
* Monitor project costs and ensure timely billing
* Liaise with project managers to close out completed projects
* Follow up on retention payments
Payroll Support
* Collect and process weekly timesheets
* Maintain monthly records of hours and expenses
* Track and reconcile employee holidays
Cash Management
* Record daily cash receipts, including acquisition-related transactions
* Maintain bank account access for audit and reporting
* Explore alternative reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
Skills & Experience
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Experience with finance systems and portals (Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten)
* Knowledge of VAT regulations and payroll processes
* Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
* Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
