HGV Driver – Granard, Co.Pat the Baker currently has a vacancy for a full-time HGV Driver based from Granard, Co.If you hold a valid C+E licence, are customer focused, motivated and enthusiastic, please apply.Primary Purpose of the RoleTo load, transport and deliver Pat the Baker/Irish Pride products in a prompt, professional and safe manner in accordance with company and legal standards.HoursWork 39 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days over 7, including weekends.ResponsibilitiesDrive your vehicle in a courteous and safe manner with regard to other road users and in accordance with road legislation and company policies and procedures.Ensure the best care and use of the Company's vehicle and equipment.Report vehicle defects to supervisor immediately.Load/unload your vehicle safely in accordance with company procedures and legal standards.Deliver Pat the Baker/Irish Pride products to customers in a safe efficient manner in accordance with company procedures.Load your vehicle taking into consideration delivery route and load distribution required for each day.Ensure all deliveries are accounted for and the correct numbers of products are delivered every time.Ensure paperwork is correct for each delivery.Provide all customers with a safe and professional service in accordance with company delivery procedures.Carry out all operational aspects of job with regard to documented company policies, procedures and safety information contained in the Drivers Handbook and other company documents.Participate in all company training and awareness programmes.QualificationsMinimum 2 years HGV driving experience is desirable.Must hold a valid category C+E licence and be CPC compliant.Must have fluent verbal and written English.All applications will be treated with the strictest of confidence and in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
