We're working with a leading tier 1 main contractor in their search for an experienced Foreman in Tallaght. The successful candidate will be joining a Restoration development.
Responsibilities:
6. Oversee and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on projects within the education and residential sectors.
7. Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
8. Supervise and lead on-site personnel, providing guidance and support to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
9. Collaborate with project managers to interpret and implement project drawings, plans, and specifications.
10. Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety standards, taking corrective actions as necessary to ensure compliance.
11. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
12. Implement and enforce safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness among the on-site team.
13. Liaise with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to provide updates and address concerns.
14. Manage and track construction materials, equipment, and resources, ensuring efficient utilization and procurement as needed.
15. Report on project status, challenges, and achievements to project management and stakeholders regularly.
16. Foster teamwork and collaboration among on-site personnel, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
17. Proven experience as a Foreman in the construction industry, with a track record of successful delivery of projects in excess of €50m
18. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards.
19. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate on-site teams.
20. Ability to interpret and implement project drawings, plans, and specifications.
21. Familiarity with construction project management software and tools.
22. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
23. Understanding of budgetary constraints and the ability to manage resources efficiently.
24. Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety protocols on-site.
25. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
26. Availability to work flexible hours as required by project demands.
