We are currently looking for a Production Coordinator to join our team in West Cork Distillers, Skibbereen.
As a Production Coordinator, you will play a key role in a new division within the Company, coordinating day-to-day operations of an inspection project.
What you'll do...
* Maintain accurate records of inspection results, shift reports, product quantities, and defect logs in line with internal and client requirements.
* Record and track batch codes, inspection outcomes, and case movements to ensure traceability and compliance with quality protocols.
* Prepare and check product labels, inspection sheets, and any relevant paperwork for use during the inspection process.
* Ensuring smooth flow of product from unloading, through inspection, to repacking or onward processing.
* Monitor inspection accuracy and ensure all quality standards are upheld. Identify any patterns in product defects and escalate issues to Quality or Production Manager.
* Coordinate the setup and breakdown of conveyor lines and inspection stations. Minimise downtime and troubleshoot minor operational issues as they arise.
* Support the training of new operatives and ensure ongoing adherence to procedures and standards.

This role is based in our facility in Marsh Road, Skibbereen, Co. Cork.
The standard working hours are 9am to 5pm on Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm on Friday
