The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.

* Coordinating with relevant departments to gather necessary data and ensure compliance with internal processes and systems.

* Developing and implementing financial strategies to maximise funding opportunities.

* Preparing monthly reports, financial summaries, and ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.

* Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working with department heads to ensure alignment with operational objectives.

Requirements

* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

* Proven experience (5+) in a financial management role in a commercial business.

* Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and transaction processing.

* Experience in using financial software and ERP systems, ideally SAP.
