We are looking for a Senior UI/UX designer to design software and platforms that meet our client's needs. You should be able to lead workshops and gather the business requirements, any technical limitations, and translate these into coherent designs utilising user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.In the role, the successful candidate will:Lead discovery and requirements-gathering workshops to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraintsTranslate complex concepts into clear user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designsPartner with Product and Engineering to define and deliver solutions across the full product lifecycleFacilitate and evolve the product vision through user research, ideation, prototyping, and usability testingDesign and deliver experiences optimised for mobile, tablet, and desktop (responsive & mobile-first)Identify UX problems in new and existing products and propose thoughtful, evidence-based solutionsEvaluate existing applications and continuously improve usability, accessibility, and overall experienceUse analytics, insights, and testing results to inform design decisions and measure impactEnsure designs meet usability, accessibility (WCAG), and brand standardsCollaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure high-quality implementation and design integrityContribute to and help evolve design systems, patterns, and best practicesCommunicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite to delivery teamsComply with Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures relevant to the roleRequirementsAbout you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:•5+ years' experience in UX/UI or Product Design roles•Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking and problem solving•Degree in Design (Graphic, Product, Industrial, Architecture or similar) or equivalent professional experience•Deep understanding of user-centred design (UCD) principles and methodologies•Proven experience planning and conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping•Strong knowledge of responsive, mobile-first design approaches•Experience working within agile, cross-functional product teams•Ability to influence design direction and contribute to product and organisational strategy•Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities•Ability to synthesise complex information into clear, actionable design solutions•Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbalTools & Technical skills•Expertise in industry-standard design tools (e.g. Figma, FigJam)•Experience creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes•Familiarity with design systems and component-based design•Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles•Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge is a plus, but not essentialNice to have•Experience designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems•Experience programming and the ability to code simple prototype•Experience in interactive design, animation•Experience designing complex enterprise or platform products•Experience working in regulated, fast-paced environmentsWhat we offer At Davy, our people are our biggest investment.
