We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Full Time Horticulturist in our Leighlinbridge Store.
Key Job Responsibilities To provide a professional friendly, and efficient service to customers, understanding the needs and requirements, working to exceed these wherever possible.
To assist in a proactively driving sales and service across the store through a strong sales team with excellent product knowledge and customer service.
To provide a point of contact for customer enquiries, dealing with these through a successful outcome and maintaining company standards.
Ability to assist with tasks and the day to day running of the Store.
Keep up to date with current product knowledge and customer trends.
Ensure all relevant POS, plant labelling and displays are correct and up to date.
Assist management by overseeing goods inwards, wastage control, stock control and stock taking, ensuring they are conducted in line with company policies.
Merchandising to our high award-winning standards to surprise and delight our customers in this unique urban garden offering.
The Ideal Candidate Will be able to demonstrate a love of gardening and good general knowledge of gardening and plants.
Must be able to build and maintain customer relationship, delivering an excellent customer service.
A horticultural degree is desirable but not essential, plus a love of gardening and plants.
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they have an adequate level of gardening knowledge to be a part of a professional, friendly and motivated horticultural retail team.
Experience in horticultural retail, or general retail is not essential but desirable, candidates with suitable experience will be at an advantage.
A successful candidate will be one who is willing to continue learning and expand their knowledge of horticulture, to assist in proactively driving sales and provide excellent product knowledge and service to our customers.
