What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Cloud Support SRE Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge cloud services that power millions of users globally. Your impact will be felt across multiple areas:
Collaborate & Support: Partner with engineering teams to deploy and support mobile cloud services, solving complex issues in scalability, reliability and performance.
Automate & Optimize: Automate operational processes to build scalable, secure and self-healing infrastructure.
Monitor & Resolve: Proactively detect, troubleshoot and resolve incidents across applications, networks and databases - ensuring high availability and performance.
Innovate & Improve: Work closely with R&D to implement robust, resilient service architectures and operational best practices.
Report & Analyse: Generate metrics and reports focused on uptime, latency, performance and capacity planning.
Lead & Inspire: Mentor and lead a team of talented engineers, fostering collaboration, inclusion and continuous learning.
Recruit & Grow: Partner with leadership to scale your team - conducting interviews and onboarding new talent.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SRE or Internet-scale Distributed Systems (SaaS/PaaS).
- 3+ years leading or mentoring technical teams.
- Strong background in Linux systems and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
- Familiarity with ITIL practices: incident, change and problem management.
- A systematic approach to troubleshooting and clear, effective communication skills.
