About the Role
Cohesity is a leader in AI-powered data security with 13,600 enterprise customers worldwide. The company provides Gen AI insights into data and has been recognized for innovation, product strength, and simplicity in design.
This role involves generating and qualifying new sales opportunities by engaging inbound leads and executing targeted outbound outreach. You will conduct discovery conversations to uncover prospect needs, pain points, business drivers, solution fit, and decision-making timelines.
Main Responsibilities
* Generate and qualify new sales opportunities
* Conduct discovery conversations
* Research target accounts and develop tailored engagement strategies
* Build relationships with key partners to extend reach and accelerate pipeline creation
* Partner with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Sales Leadership to execute the go-to-market strategy
* Manage a territory, owning SMB or commercial accounts and selling specific product sets
* Deliver effective product demos and maintain deep knowledge of offerings, product capabilities, industry trends, and top competitors
Requirements
* Possession of a passion for sales with at least 3 years of relevant experience
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Proficient in CRM systems and prospecting tools
* Skilled in researching companies, conducting cold calls and email campaigns, navigating organizational charts, and using creative strategies to reach prospects
