We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in the commercial team, responsible for the financial management of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Procurement: Develop and implement project procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
* Tender Reports: Prepare tender reports and appointments to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
* Cost Management: Monitor project costs, prepare monthly project payment applications, and cost reports.
* Design Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the design team to agree on variations and ensure project deliverables are met.
* Financial Performance: Report financial performance to senior management and provide insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements:
* Degree level in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* 4+ years of experience in quantity surveying on civils projects.
* Previous experience working with main contractors is desirable.
* Chartered or working towards chartership.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
