Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years. We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
Our expanding network of branches and sizeable fleet enable us to deliver vehicles faster than any other supplier, minimizing downtime and keeping vehicles on the road longer. Our fleet includes light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our growth, we have a full-time vacancy in our Dublin branch within the Bodyshop team.
Role Overview
Responsible for processing all damages (both in-life and end-of-life) requiring Bodyshop assessment and repair. Ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with KPIs and that no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet are in the Bodyshop at any one time.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Capture additional images of damaged vehicles for damage packs
* Upload damage packs (files/images) to shared drives
* Perform Quality Checks on vehicles returning from repairs
* Notify Workshop Manager of QC outcomes for repair acceptance or failure
* Manage and monitor vehicles in the Bodyshop
* Manage damage packs, ensuring documentation and images meet requests
* Serve as the point of contact for Service Department and other departments regarding queries
* Provide training support to Satellite Branches as needed
* Liaise with Asset Department for vehicle collection/movements, advising if vehicles are driveable or require recovery
* Ensure job cards are raised promptly and CAP is updated regularly
* Update internal and external customers on repair progress
* Handle emails and correspondence as required
* Communicate daily with external Bodyshops
* Conduct weekly and monthly fleet audit reports
* Maintain filing systems

Person Specification - Education, Qualifications, and Training
* Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalent
* Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance
* Experience in a Bodyshop, at any capacity
* Proven customer service skills and relationship-building ability
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Work ethic and ability to perform under pressure
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Self-motivated with organizational skills
* Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
* Team player and adaptable to change
* Experience in vehicle rental or the motor industry
* Experience in Bodyshop, Warranty, or Workshop roles is desirable
* Potentially suitable for an apprentice mechanic or panel beater interested in an administrative role

We offer a competitive salary of €30,000 DOE per annum (pro-rata), along with:
