Graduate / Part-Qualified Accountant
Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant / Trainee Accountant to join their busy Finance Team based in Bandon, Co. Cork. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate, part-qualified, or newly qualified accountant who is eager to develop their career within a large, forward-thinking organisation. The position comes with strong mentoring, career progression, and study support for professional exams. Working closely with the Finance Team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of finance functions while supporting the preparation of weekly and monthly accounts.
Location: Bandon, Co. Cork (onsite, free parking)
Salary: DOE
Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday–Friday
Contract: Permanent, full-time

Duties
* Registering and reconciling sales invoices
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Processing and requesting credit notes
* Bank reconciliations
* VAT, VIES and Intrastat returns
* Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
* Assisting with weekly and monthly management accounts
* Resolving invoice queries and providing financial support across the business
Qualifications
* A recent finance/accounting graduate, trainee accountant, or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail – essential
* Good communication and time management skills
* A proactive, team-oriented approach.
