Co-operate with your employer and comply with responsibilities under the Mental Health Act **** and Mental Health Amendment Act ****, the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act **** and all associated standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Use company IT systems as instructed and never share passwords to prevent unauthorized disclosure of personal data as defined under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Help people who have mental health conditions live more successful lives.
Work as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to assist each patient.
Understand the unique challenges of those you work with and help them as necessary.
Collaboratively carry out Initial Assessments, Individual Sessions and Group Sessions.
Analyse living conditions, identify concerns or areas for improvement, and compile findings into reports for the team.
Help patients make sense of their situations, better understand themselves, constructively challenge them to think, and help them set achievable goals to improve their lives.
Work within legal frameworks such as the Mental Health Act *****) and undertake continuing professional development as appropriate.
Perform other duties as appropriate to the post.
Essential Qualifications:
Level 7/8 bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
CORU registered and eligible to work in Ireland.
