Role
The Systems Accountant is responsible for the ownership, integrity, and optimisation of the organisation's financial systems. This role ensures Finance has reliable, accurate, and efficient systems for reporting, controls, planning, and transactional processing.
Responsibilities
* Financial system management: Administering and optimising enterprise resource planning on
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

* Weekly, monthly and yearly financial reporting and analysis:
[Designing and]
generating comprehensive financial reports to support business analysis and strategic decision-making.
* Internal controls and compliance: Ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks and accounting principles.
* Data integrity and compliance: Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
* Process automation and improvement:Identifying and implementing automation opportunities and process enhancements to streamline financial operations.
Qualifications and experience
* Fully qualified accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
* A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or information systems.
• ERP system expertise: Proven experience with leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
* Financial reporting proficiency
* Analytical and complex problem-solving abilities
* Expertise in identifying and implementing process improvements and automation solutions like lean finance
* Communication and interdepartmental collaboration
* Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
* Proven experience in system implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting
