Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team in Dublin on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop Technical Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models based on project requirements and specifications.
* Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other designers to ensure that designs are accurate and feasible.
* Revise and Update Designs: Modify existing drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback and changes to meet project needs.
* Ensure Compliance: Adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations in all design work.
* Detail Specifications: Include accurate measurements, materials, and technical details in all drawings.
* Participate in Design Reviews: Engage in team meetings to discuss design improvements and address any issues.
* Manage CAD Files: Organize and maintain digital files, ensuring proper version control and accessibility.
* Assist in Prototyping: Use CAD software to create models for testing and analysis.
* Provide Technical Support: Offer assistance in resolving design-related issues during manufacturing or construction phases.
* Stay Updated: Keep abreast of advancements in CAD technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Education: A degree or diploma in Computer-Aided Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* Experience: Proven experience as a CAD Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 2D and 3D design.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all design work.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
