We are presently recruiting Automation Engineers for our client Charleville, County Cork. You will be responsible for monitoring of equipment, including pumps, filters, and chemical dosing systems, take regular water samples, conduct tests to ensure safety and quality standards, and maintain accurate logs of plant operations and responding to alarms or system faults. This is a permanent position, based in County Cork.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee daily operational tasks to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring timely reporting as required.Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.Support team members and collaborate across departments to achieve organisational goals.Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing projects or events as needed.Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and resources to support operational needs.Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute practical solutions.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements at all times.Qualifications and experiences2+ years’ experienceBachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or Automation EngineeringSCADA/HMI systems (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)Robotics and industrial control systems experience is essentialSalary is open to negotiation based on experience and in the region of €60 – 90,000 plus pension, yearly bonus.
