Role Purpose:
* Drive the Nutricia Danone Paediatric Business in the assigned territory by winning and retaining hospital nutritional contract business and promoting community preference for our paediatric product range.
* Consolidate our position as a market leader in Hospital & Community sectors in specific areas such as Allergy and Faltering Growth.
* Maintain Nutricia Danone's reputation in the territory through excellence in nutritional and technical support, while promoting our paediatric product range in healthcare settings.
* Build relationships with healthcare professionals in hospitals and the community, as well as key hospital influencers including pharmacy, stores, and department managers.
* Manage business in key accounts and identify opportunities for growth in both hospital and community settings.
Key Activities:
* Provide nutritional and technical support for the Nutricia Allergy and Faltering Growth product ranges to healthcare professionals in hospitals and the community, including hospital stores and pharmacies responsible for nutritional products.
* Review hospital sales figures regularly, at least monthly, to target activities effectively.
* Collaborate with Nutricia Danone Marketing and Medical teams to develop successful campaigns by providing insights into customer needs and feedback.
* Present Nutricia Danone paediatric products at relevant healthcare professional meetings.
* Identify new customers and opportunities to grow the business, and gather information to secure successful hospital contracts.
* Ensure ongoing educational development by attending relevant study days, reviewing medical literature, and staying updated on best clinical practices in collaboration with the Nutricia Danone Medical Department.
* Liaise with distributors and wholesalers to ensure maximum product availability.
* Maintain records of sales activities on the CRM platform.
* Complete and regularly update the annual territory business plan.
This is a field-based role located in the west of Ireland, specifically in Connaught, North West, or Mid Leinster.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
About You
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following key skills:
* Experience in a sales role is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Proven success in developing relationships with key medical personnel.
* Degree in Human Nutrition, Dietetics, or Nursing is preferred.
* Ability to establish trust and credibility with opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
