Drive Operational Excellence
Auditing and assessing warehouse operations, identifying process bottlenecks and implementing standardised work processes is crucial for driving operational excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives, developing cost models and designing warehouse layouts to ensure efficient and scalable quality service for customers.
1. Operational Review & Process Improvement: Conduct thorough audits of current warehouse operations, pinpointing areas that require improvement and implementing targeted solutions to enhance productivity.
2. Commercial Support: Collaborate with commercial teams to assess the viability and operational fit of new clients, providing critical insights into potential revenue streams.
3. Data Analysis & Systems Integration: Work closely with IT and WMS teams to align systems with engineered processes, creating dashboards, KPIs and tracking tools to monitor operational performance.
* Qualifications: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
* Experience: 3-5+ years' experience in logistics, warehousing or fulfilment centre environments.
* Skills: Strong data analytics and modelling, familiarity with WMS, TMS and automation systems, CAD or similar tools for layout and flow design.
