Job Role Overview
The role of a Finance Business Analyst involves leading support and enhancements for Peoplesoft Financials, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting.
This position requires collaboration across IT, Finance, and external service providers, driving process improvements, and managing key finance system initiatives.
* Lead the implementation of Peoplesoft General Ledger, Multicurrency, Consolidation, Allocations, Journal Entry processing, and other related modules.
* Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and re-engineer business processes.
* Coordinate application management activities across multiple regions and time zones.
* Develop functional specifications, manage testing (scripts, UAT, regression), and deliver user training.
* Provide subject matter expertise on financial processes, including VAT, withholding tax, and reporting.
* Support governance, prioritisation, and monitoring of Finance IT initiatives.
* Assist with integrations, reporting tools, and analytics (SQL, Power BI, n Vision, Business Objects).
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of core Peoplesoft modules, solid understanding of financial processes, and hands-on experience with testing, training, and problem resolution in Peoplesoft. Familiarity with Peoplesoft Tools, SQR, Autosys, and system integration is also desired. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in global/multi-time zone environments are essential.
A degree or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or IT with a strong interest in both domains is required.
