We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical engineering team. As an Electrical Engineering Lead, you will oversee various projects from an electrical perspective and collaborate with multidiscipline teams.

In this role, you will analyze complex engineering problems, provide effective solutions, and support fee and capital budget proposals as needed. You will also assemble and manage bid, approval, and construction issue electrical packages in an efficient and lean manner.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy industrial engineering design, hold a third-level degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline, and be chartered or working towards it. They should also have demonstrable advanced experience in the complete suite of electrical engineering design services, including MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, vertical transportation, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, earthing & bonding, hazardous areas, and specialist control systems.

Additional requirements include advanced knowledge of applicable electrical engineering codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices, as well as commercially aware with the ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies for cost-effective solutions. The successful candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents.

Qualifications:

* Third Level Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.

* 10+ years of formal experience in heavy industrial engineering design.

* Chartered or working towards same.

* Demonstrable advanced experience in the complete suite of electrical engineering design services.
