About the Company
Exciting new opportunity for a
n engineer who is eager to work on residential projects exclusively in the Cork City Area.
My client is keen to chat to Engineers with
1 -2
+ years' experience working
with a Main Building Contractor in the Munster area.
The successful candidate will be
working alongside a well-established site team and an Experienced Senior Engineer.
This is a new role with the company due to their current engineer being promoted – lots of opportunity for an eager professional to grow within the company.
Applicants must have
some
experience with all aspects of setting out and be comfortable with ordering concrete and AutoCAD.
The Role
Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks for the project.
Ensure H&S standards are met and adhered to on site.
Support the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Experience with main contracting on RC Frame projects – taking the frame out of the ground.
Experience setting out for multistorey structures.
Minimum of 1 years' experience in an engineering role with a Main building Contractor in ROI.
Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
