We are currently seeking highly-motivated Support Workersto join our team in our Children's Respite Services, Lavanagh House, Curraheen, Cork.

Contract Type: Permanent and Relief
Contract Hours: Part time (19.5 hours per week) & Relief (variable hours)
Salary Scale: €32,639 – €39,499 pro rata per annum.
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum pro-rata, and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overview of the Post: The role of Support Worker in Children's Respite Services is to work as part of a dedicated and innovative team to provide person centred services to children with disabilities who attend Enable Ireland Respite Services.

The successful candidate will have · QQI Level 5 Major Award in one of the following:
o Social Care
o Pre Nursing
(8 modules to include one module on special needs/disability studies/challenging behaviour or a commitment to complete one of these modules within 6-months of commencement)
OR
· A comparable SNA Qualification
OR
· Year 1 of a relevant degree programme in Health and Social Care (such as Social Care, Child Care, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy)
AND
· Full Clean Manual Driving Licence and willingness to drive company vehicles.
AND
· Be eligible to work in the state
· Experience of supporting people with disabilities.
· Experience of working with people with behaviours of concern.
· Experience of providing personal care
· Basic IT skills
