Job description:Our client is seeking an experienced Document Control Leadto join their team in Leixlip. The successful applicant will work closely with the Regional Manager and lead the set-up and implementation of document management.Role OverviewThe Document Control Lead is responsible for overseeing document control activities across multiple projects for a single client with similar scopes of work. This role ensures that all project teams have access to accurate, up-to-date information and that standardized document control systems and procedures are implemented across the business unit. The Lead acts as the primary point of contact for client document control matters and manages project document control staff.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & ManagementServe as the Document Control Lead for all projects within the BU.Provide hands-on support to project Document Controllers when required.Forecast and highlight periods in advance where additional document control resources are needed; manage allocation of those resources.Manage and mentor project document control staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.Client & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the face of the Jones Document Control team for client interactions.Maintain strong client relationships and manage all client correspondence related to document control.Issue one standardized weekly report for each project to Regional Manager, covering Engineering, PM, QS, and Planning.Document Control Systems & ProcessesEnsure project teams have access to the correct, most up-to-date information at all times.Implement and maintain systems for:Receipt of drawings from the client.Issuing drawings to subcontractors.Standardize document control systems, folder templates, and procedures across all projects within the BU.Conduct regular audits of all shared drives to ensure compliance and accuracy.Project SupportAssist the Preconstruction team with tenders, including uploading tender return documents.Coordinate with Off-Site Manufacturing teams/workshops to ensure design updates are incorporated.Support preparation of O&M templates for project handover.ReportingProvide weekly standardized reports for each project to senior management, covering:EngineeringProject Management (PM)Quantity Surveying (QS)PlanningSafetySkills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and leadership skills.Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.Proficiency in document management systems and construction workflows.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Next StepsIf you are interested in this role, please apply directly or email your CV to Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personJob Types: Full-time, PermanentAbility to commute/relocate:Leixlip, County Kildare: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In personJob InformationDate Opened11/13/2025Job TypeFull timeIndustryConstructionCityKildareState/ProvinceKildareCountryIrelandZip/Postal CodeR51
