My client are seeking a reliable
Shunt Driver
to join their team in Louth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers on-site, ensuring smooth flow of vehicles and supporting overall yard operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely move, position, and park trailers within the yard and loading bays
* Coordinate closely with warehouse and transport teams to maintain efficient operations
* Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
* Support general warehouse duties as required, including loading/unloading and stock handling
* Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance at all times
* Assist with warehouse operations as needed
Requirements
* Valid shunting/yard shunter experience (or relevant HGV experience)
* Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full Irish drivers license
