This role will be onsite.Located in our Ballyragget facility in Co. Kilkenny, this role reports to the EH&S ManagerResponsibilitiesSafety is our no.1 priority. You'll learn to put safety first. You'll gain experience in best practice application of safe systems in a busy production environment.Environmental and Sustainability – Caring for our environment is part of our everyday in Tirlán. Working with our Utilities Team you will learn how environmental care and sustainability work in a large production environment.Problem solving and continuous improvement: Work as part of a broader EHS team and utilising team based problem solving employing lean / 6 sigma techniques through the Business Excellence, our platform for enterprise excellence. The tools, techniques, culture and 'can do' approach will be a defining feature of your programme.EHS Management: You will support the EHS policies and procedures across the site and be a proactive EHS presence in the plant and production environment. Assist with conduction risk assessments and work with the production teams to ensure actions are followed up from an EHS perspective. Communicate to all site employees safety alerts and training. Report on EHS metrics and be involved in audits or inspections from eternal organisations such as EPA, Department of Agriculture and customers.
