Line of ServiceInternal Firm ServicesIndustry/SectorNot ApplicableSpecialismIFS - Information Technology (IT)Management LevelManagerJob Description & SummaryPwC Ireland isseekingan experienced and highly motivated Senior Business AnalystManagerto join our dynamicBusiness Analysis Team in Tech Central within the Business Enablement Solutions (BES) line of service. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the successful implementation of large-scale systems and emerging technologies, including Generative AI (GenAI) solutionsto supporttransformation change projects and continuous improvementacross all lines of serviceincluding BES, Tax, Assurance and Consulting.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions.Collaborate closely with stakeholders, and internal teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for complex projects involving GenAI and other innovative technologies.Run process analysis workshops withinternalstakeholders to map current state processes,identifypain points, and design future state improvementsleveraginginnovative technologiesto optimise business workflows and enhance operationalefficiency.Work closely with development teams and external vendors to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and delivered on time and within scope.Drive implementation of large-scale systems, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that meet regulatory and businessobjectives.Mentor and develop junior business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies related to business analysis and solution delivery.Support business development activities through thought leadership on emerging technologies such as GenAI and their practical applications in client engagements.Education/Professional Qualifications:Candidatesmust hold athird level qualification in an IT related discipline or a general primary degree followed by a postgraduate IT qualification. A focus on AI, machine learning or natural language processing would beadvantageous. Candidates should hold abusiness analysis certification in one or more of the following:CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)Agile Business Analyst Certification (e.g., PMI-ACP,ICAgileCertified Professional)Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certificationProject management certifications will beadvantageoussuch as PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner and/orPMI-PMP.Experience and Skills Required:6-7yearsof progressive business analysis experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.Proventrack recordin running process analysis workshops, process mapping, business process analysis, and leading process improvement initiativesleveragingtechnology.Proven experience in AI, automation, or technology enablement within tax, finance, or related professional services.Experience in implementing large-scale technology solutions, ideally within professional services environments.Demonstrated experience with Generative AI (GenAI) solutions implementation is highlyadvantageous.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with developers and vendors.Understanding of Tax, Assurance, and/or Consulting business processes and regulatory frameworks isadvantageous.Experience working within professional services firmsadvantageous.Strong leadership,facilitationand organisational skills.Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Demonstrated ability to engageand workwith senior leadership.Demonstratedability to inspire confidence.Stronganalytical skills,proactive issue resolution, anda focus on delivering measurable business impact.Ability to innovate and introduceappropriate changeshowing sound judgement and pragmatism.Unlock your potential with PwC IrelandWe believe that challenges are better solved together We'reinspiring and empowering our people to change the world.
