Quantity Surveyor Role
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our projects team, you will be responsible for managing project costs and ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of development budgets and feasibility appraisals
* Implementation of value engineering strategies
* Preparation of tender documentation and analysis of tender returns
* Administration of building and civil engineering contracts
* Operation of cost management systems
* Compliance with quality, environmental and health & safety management systems
* Preparation of payment recommendations and agreement of compensation costs
* Management of support staff
Requirements:
* Chartered or working towards chartership as a Quantity Surveyor
* 5 to 10 years post qualification experience (PQ) preferred
* Ability to work proactively within project teams
* Commercially and contractually focused
