What is the role?
We are recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team and support the exciting growth journey our business is on. This critical role is seeking an ambitious, innovative, and professionally qualified Accountant, preferably with IFRS experience. The successful candidate in addition to monthly subsidiary financial accounting responsibilities will manage of a diverse range of high impact group activities including Fixed Asset Management, Subsidiary Payroll and Global Expenses in addition to other ad-hoc activities, all of which are vital to our continued growth and success.
What are the key responsibilities?
* Maintain and support the finance team in the preparation of accurate and complete management accounts monthly
* Subsidiary Payroll – In partnership with our internal Global Payroll Team, full ownership of and drive the execution of monthly group payroll process.
* Group Tangible Fixed Asset management – Manage the company fixed asset register through maintaining accurate records reflecting additions, disposals and depreciation and report insights to the business as required
* Oversee the management of the group T&E platform including managing users, prepare/review monthly reports and schedule monthly reimbursements.
* Management of group subsidiary Accounts Receivables – Maintenance & review of customer credit limits and accounts receivable controls.
* Assistance with group subsidiary Accounts payable – Ensuring purchase order compliance, matching invoices and scheduling vendor payments.
* Analyse business operations, financial commitments, costs, revenues, and trends to develop projections for future revenue and expenses
* Maintain and establish well-documented systems for recordkeeping and accounting
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, best practices and government regulations
* Liaise with the Commercial team on regional financial queries
* Assistance with local audit, tax and company secretarial compliance.
* Any other duties/ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
What education and experience are required?
* Professionally qualified Chartered Accountant
* A minimum of 4 years post qualification experience including experience in Multinational environments
