Production Operator
What you need to know:
Matrix Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Operator to join a well-established team in the medical device manufacturing sector in Galway. This is a permanent Monday – Friday day shift Position.
Your New Job:
The successful candidate will support the manufacture of prepared microbiology media and be involved in the day-to-day operations of media production. This hands-on role requires a proactive approach and a strong work ethic, working to high standards in a regulated environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist with the manufacturing of prepared microbiology media.
* Participate in the daily running of production activities and associated tasks.
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
* Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow within the production environment.
* Maintain cleanroom standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Attend internal and external training as required.
What are we looking for?
* Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a cleanroom or GMP-regulated setting.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures precisely.
* Flexible, hardworking, and a team player who enjoys working with others.
* Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively.
* Results-driven, with good time management and organisational skills.
* Willingness to undergo comprehensive on-site training.
