Business Overview
Commitment to innovation and a drive to do things differently have seen Greenergy grow from a bedroom start-up to become a world leader in waste-based renewables, and a leading fuel supplier. We endeavor to approach the status quo of an established industry with fresh eyes and empower our people to develop and to deliver change through innovation. Our values underpin every interaction we have, whether with colleagues, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we operate. It is these values of Respect, Ownership, Care and Integrity that have delivered our growth as a business and developed strong customer relationships.
Greenergy's core business in Ireland involves the importation, distribution, and sale of fuel and convenience products. These are sold across various customer channels, including industrial, commercial, agricultural, domestic, wholesale, and forecourt retail. Greenergy acquired Inver Energy in 2017 and Amber Petroleum recently. The company operates a network of over 115 branded forecourts under Inver and Amber brands and manages 18 convenience stores through different operational models. Additionally, there is a home heating oil depot in Fermoy.
Job Description
Amber Petroleum Ltd, part of the Greenergy Group, supports the Transport Operations & Commercial Driving Apprenticeship (CDAP). This 2-year program is designed for those interested in a career in commercial driving, providing comprehensive training on the broader aspects of the role.
The program combines online lectures at ATU Sligo once a week with practical experience embedded within our transport teams for the remaining days.
