Strategic Land Acquisition Specialist
This role is responsible for securing third-party land acquisition to support the delivery of renewable energy projects. The position involves devising, managing, and implementing landowner negotiation strategies for large-scale development and energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive landowner negotiation plans.
* Manage complex agreements (options, leases, wayleaves, easements) to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Represent the organization in leading negotiations with landowners to secure viable and cost-effective land deals.
* Proactively lead negotiations to secure necessary agreements and facilitate project progress.
* Oversee third-party independent valuation processes to inform land acquisition decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, skills, knowledge, and attributes.
* Honors Degree in Land Management, Agriculture, Business, or equivalent.
* Minimum 6 years of professional experience from an agriculture, forestry, property, or project management background.
* Familiarity with Irish Property Law and knowledge of relevant documentation.
* Experience with renewable energy projects and commercial understanding of business needs.
* Sound knowledge of sustainable land management practices and strong stakeholder management skills.
This position requires a self-starting individual who can work effectively as part of a wider team. Excellent negotiating, influencing, presentation, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
