Finance Transformation Project Manager – Fixed term contract
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a strategic Finance Transformation programme within the Financial Services sector. This initiative spans multiple finance domains and involves the replacement of core financial systems, reengineering of processes, and alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.
The successful candidate will drive delivery across workstreams, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure the programme delivers measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the finance transformation programme across areas such as Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, FP&A, Actuarial, and Tax, designing new processes for the Finance target operating model.
* Develop and maintain integrated project plans, RAID logs, and executive dashboards; assist with the design and setup of interfaces between business and finance systems.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Actuarial and IT, identifying opportunities to add value through improved efficiency, effectiveness or enhanced service.
* Partner with SMEs to redesign finance processes for automation and compliance.
* Ensure robust data migration, reconciliation, and testing strategies are in place.
* Facilitate workshops and communications to ensure alignment and engagement across business units and geographies; develop and update project plans and status reports.
* Oversee the replacement and integration of finance systems (e.g., Oracle, consolidation tools, regulatory reporting platforms).
* Lead change management efforts including training, communications and stakeholder readiness.
* Manage programme budgets, forecasts and resource allocations.
* Work with various stakeholders internally and within Group.
Requirements
* 3–5 years proven experience delivering large‑scale finance transformation programmes in Financial Services.
* Strong understanding of finance processes and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborative leadership style with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
* Project Management certification preferred.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience with finance systems such as Oracle, Tagetik desirable but not essential.
Regulatory Requirements
* If this role is a "controlled function" as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011, any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the candidate meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness & Probity standards issued in this Act.
